Dr. Sanjay Prakash is a distinguished neurologist and a leading authority on headache disorders in India. He completed his DM in Neurology from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow, and also worked at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI), Lucknow. He later joined Baroda Medical College, Vadodara. Since 2013, Dr. Prakash has been serving at Smt. B.K. Shah Medical Institute and Research Centre at Dhiraj Hospital, where he currently holds the position of Professor and Head of the Department of Neurology.

Dr. Prakash is widely recognized for his extensive clinical and research work on various headache disorders, including migraine, tension-type headaches, chronic daily headache, New daily persistent headache, and trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias.

He has made notable contributions to advancing the understanding of headache medicine. He has pioneered research on the relationship between Vitamin D deficiency and headaches.
